Doctors for UK and Northern Ireland

BPL Ltd, an Irish recruitment agency specializing in jobs in the health sector, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and the Italian EURES network, is currently promoting two events in Rome to provide potential candidates with useful information on available jobs for professionals in the UK and Northern Ireland.

The invitation is open exclusively to medical practitioners, listed in the Italian medical register (also those who are not Italian or do not come from other EU countries), specialists or junior doctors, in various branches of medicine.

Most sought-after medical specialities:
  • Pediatrics
  • Anesthesia
  • Emergency Medicine
  • General Practice
  • Psychiatry

Others:
  • Diabetology
  • Endocrinology
  • Urology
  • Geriatrics
  • Cardiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Dermatology
  • Rheumatology
  • Radiology
The purpose of the session is to provide participants with all the necessary information on specific requirements and application procedures. More specifically, enrolment procedures for the respective medical registers, the GMC in the UK and the IMC in Northern Ireland, will be explained so that candidates, once recruited, will have all the necessary information at hand.  It should be noted that, although no specific language certificate is necessary, at least a B2 level of English (CEF), both written and oral, is required. Detailed information will also be provided on the interview process, following the pre-screening by BPL Ltd, as well as general indications on the profiles sought after.

The job offers include attractive salaries and career prospects, as well as assistance in looking for accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses and registration fees.
